I bet KFC is really wishing they thought of this first. HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

Life Just Got a Little Less Funny

A great man who really made me laugh died last night. The following is an excerpt from the article on MSNBC:
Comedic actor Dom DeLuise has died, TMZ.com reported.

Deluise died in his sleep at a Los Angeles hospital, at about 6 p.m. Monday, according to the Web site.

A iconic star in classics like "Cannonball Run," "Spaceballs," "The Muppet Movie" and "Blazing Saddles," DeLuise was 75 years old.

He leaves behind his wife, actress Carol Arthur, and three sons: actor, writer, director Peter DeLuise, actor David DeLuise and Michael DeLuise.


If anybody deserved to die peacfully in his sleep, it was Dom Deluise. I never read, watched, or heard a bad thing about the man. From watching his work, it was obvious that he had a way about him that just radiated how happy he was to be alive. Dom Deluise was one of those rare people that was just naturally funny. His humor flowed through him and into whoever was watching him. I still remember seeing Cannonball Run and how I would just giggle like an idiot whenever he was on the screen. 
Even though he was naturally funny, he could act too. People forget about Fatso where Dom played a man who was a slave for food and finds love at a support group for the overweight. Even though he was never what you would consider leading man material, he pulled that movie off. 
Dom Deluise is a legacy that will be sorely missed. I might have to actually sit down and watch the Cannonball Run tonight and have one last giggle with my old pal Dom.
