Here's the thing though. One mile away. It doesn't sound very far does it? It's the distance it takes a car to travel in a minute if you're going 60mph on the freeway. A human in good shape can run it in about 5 or 6 minutes. You can walk it in 15-20. 10,000 soda straws laid out end to end would stretch for a mile. A mile is 5280 feet or 1760 yards. Both towers of the World Trade Center stacked on top of each other would only be a half mile tall. The Grand Canyon has an average depth of one mile. It only takes a fall of 5 feet to kill a full grown human being. It takes me 35 minutes to go one mile on the 110 North at 4:30 in the afternoon.
This tiny little dog got tossed a mile. Yet it survived and was fine.
The dog learned an important lesson.
Sometimes life picks you up and takes you for a ride. When you land sometimes you get all busted up and sometimes not. But as long as you're still breathing, you can dust yourself off and keep going.
And it helps if you have a pet psychic handy.
